GIVE FOOD TO YOUR HOUSEHOLD
Proverbs 31:15“She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth
meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.”
She is considerate of her household and thereby is an early riser cooking breakfast.
No one catches her lying in bed in the middle of the day.
Someone once said to, “They are not making women like that these days.” The wise virgins of Matthew 25 were prepared and got up at midnight.
it is also her responsibility to see that her family members are properly nourished.
Today, mothers or wives don't have time to cook because of a job or other commitments.
She was kind and considerate to all, regardless of position. Her servants received not just her commands, but nourishment and nurturing from her. Though her maidens had no voice in how they were treated, she exercised kindness and generosity in their behalf; she knew she was accountable to God for how she treated others.
THESE ARE WHAT YOU CAN DO
1. Identify your problem.
2. List potential solutions.
3. Revise the list.
4. Put the list into practice.
“Do you lack skill in homemaking? If you know what to do, but lack practice ~ start practicing! Choose one thing today that you know you ought to be doing, and do it.”
“Start something today.
Don’t start everything today!
Don’t start a stringent diet, an exhausting exercise program, and a complete make-over at the same time. But do start something without delay.
If you are overweight, make one or two decisions about food. replace sugared drinks with ice water or unsweetened tea.
Determine to make the atmosphere in our home Christ-centered in all areas (including décor, music, audio / visual materials, etc.)
GOD BLESS YOU
