GOD'S LAW, OUR DELIGHT
February 6 Devotional daily God's law, our delight. Psalms 1:2 'but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night "
God doesn't force us to obey him. Obedience is a free will of the mind, God didn't force Adam to obey him, he gave us the freedom of choice. This is why the psalmist says, your delight should be in law of God. You should be happy in obeying, you don't obey God's law grudgingly but willingly. Meditating in God's word gives us the urge to move on, if you meditate in the word of God, you will be more inspired, you will have more knowledge of God's Word which will in turn make you stand with God. The knowledge of God's Word will help you not to heed the evil counsel, it will help you not to stand in the way of sinners and it will help you not to sit in the seat of the scornful.

ALL YOU HAVE. BEWARE
"He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that rules his
spirit than he that takes a city." Anger is a normal, healthy emotion. However, it can be a problem if you find it difficult to keep it under control
Nothing good ever came from anger. It destroys
relationships. It destroys lives.
It’s very hard
to live with an angry person. If you are calm,
you will have better control over your life. If you could control
your anger, you will be more responsible and trustworthy. As Christians,
it is better to live at peace with your neighbors, and let go of anger. It brings
nothing but trouble.
Ephesians 4:31,32 "Let all bitterness,
and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with
all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one
another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you."
"YOUR HEAT SHOULD BE PRESERVED ONLY FOR YOUR SPOUSE"
Today's system has so much decayed that we hardly have young people whose "heat" are still intact. What heat do I mean? I don't mean a prefabricated heat. I mean such divine heat for sexual satisfaction between a married man and woman. Such heat is found in the bible in Ecclesiastes 4:11 (KJV) - "Again, if two (obviously married couple) lie together (obviously in bed having fun), then they have "HEAT": but how can one be warm alone?" That's the kind of heat I'm talking about.
But today we have people (men and women), whose heat(s) have been completely drained before marriage via premarital sex. What heat will be left to enjoy when you get married? ...
God has so much designed this heat to be at its peak when one is a virgin and so much enjoyed when married and that's why you have to keep your heat (virginity) till you get married. In 1 Kings 1:2 (KJV) - "Let there be …
